> CFUW Stratford continues to discuss the campaign for integrated public transportation with local groups and representatives and attended a board meeting of the Stratford Chamber of Commerce for a brief presentation on April 23rd.

> On April 2nd, CFUW Stratford attended a meeting in Toronto  with VIA Director of Network Planning and Scheduling, Dino Trubiano. CFUW Stratford representatives Sheila Clarke, Louise McColl, and Holly Barkman, attend along with Stratford Mayor Dan Mathieson, the President SWEA (Southwest Economic Alliance), Serge Lavoie, and a representative of RAIL (Sarnia-Lambton), Mabel Higgins. Discussion centred around the large segments of the population that have been affected by reductions in public transportation. The need for multi-level cooperation was high-lighted.  All parties agreed to pursue a meeting between all public transportation service providers, and representatives of SW Ontario.
